Objective

The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program is designed with a special focus on current Computer Applications. It shall be three years (six semesters) full time program. BCA Program aims to develop ability to interact with real-life situations and to build systems which can be efficiently processed on computers. Take up positions in Systems Management and project management in leading IT corporations. Degree of B.C.A of the University of Lucknow shall be conferred on the candidate who pursues the prescribed courses of study for six semesters and passes the examinations as prescribed under the relevant ordinances.

Scope & Career Prospects

BCA is a new age degree course in the field of computer applications. We know that India is an IT power thus it is obvious that the course of BCA will provide jobs in the IT sector. The companies such as Wipro, InfoTech, Satyam, [TCS] Tata Consultancy Service, Siemens Communications, and even International companies such as Vodafone, and Essar Communications are hiring Students every year.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized Board/University securing minimum 50% (GEN) and 45% (SC/ST) marks in aggregate in any stream. The candidate is required to pass without any grace in the each of the subject of the subject group

The BCA Course is spread over 3 years, six semesters. Each semester has an
